FAQs
Browsers
Q: |
What browsers are supported? |
A: |
The courses for MyFDA Academy work in any modern browser, including on mobile devices. However, on pc's running Windows, Google Chrome is the preferred browser. In Microsoft Edge, depending on your screen resolution, the "hotspot" for clicking some buttons, such as the jump and exit buttons present on many slides, may not always line up with the actual buttons themselves. |

Q: |
How do I communicate with the author of a course? |

Q: |
How do I communicate with others who have enrolled in the same course as me? |
A: |
Within the Navigation block from your Dashboard page or any course page, you will see "My courses". Each course in which you are enrolled is listed under "My courses", and has a "Participants" option available. Clicking on "Participants" will show you other students in the course. You can then click on any of the names to see the public profile information for that user, as well an option to message the user.
In addition, each course has a Forum available on the main course page. You can post questions and comments for other course participants in the Forum, as well as reply to posts from other participants.

Reports
Q: |
How does the filter for reports work? |
A: |
When you first run a report, no filter is applied, even though the default filter conditions are displayed. If you select any filter conditions and click 'Apply', then all listed conditions - including any Start Date/End Date conditions - are applied. So if you don't want to filter by date but do want to apply another available filter, make sure that the date range is wide enough to include all of your records. Any date range filters also have time components, so keep this in mind when using them.
If you want to remove any applied filters for a given report, you don't have to re-run the report. Simply click the 'Cancel' button below the filter at the top of the report. The report will refresh with no filters applied.

Q: |
What does it take to earn an SME badge? |
